Using newspapers from the 1955s, a period immediately after the end of the war that was still post-war, but no longer post-war, I created it with the motif of Tetsujin 28-go, a robot that represents the post-war era.
Tetsujin 28-go was originally a ``decisive weapon'' developed during the war, but the war ended midway through its development and it went missing.
However, one day, Tetsujin suddenly appears in front of the boy, Shotaro Kaneda, and the story begins with the success of the boy and Tetsujin. Although iron men were born as ``weapons,'' they are used for the sake of ``peace.''
As the singer says in the theme song, "The good and the bad, it depends on the remote control," the iron man himself is neither good nor evil, but is a person with great power, similar to a kind of "god", and who can use that power. It can change into anything depending on the person controlling it.
Also, the fact that the main character is a child has a necessary meaning, as adults are no longer able to take care of the wars that adults have started, and irresponsibly rely on many young people, still children, and send many of them to the battlefield, which is painful. It was also a time when children could not trust adults because of this.
In order to express this concept, the surface of the book mainly uses the contents of articles that represent the long post-war era, which occurred immediately after the end of the war.

終戦直後から戦後が残りつつも戦後ではなくなった昭和30 年代の新聞を使い、戦後を代表するロボット「鉄人28 号」をモチーフに制作した。
鉄人28 号は元々戦時中に開発された「決戦兵器」であったが、開発途中で終戦を迎え、そのまま行方不明となっていた。
だがある日、少年" 金田正太郎" 前に突然と鉄人が現れたことにより、金田少年と鉄人の活躍が始まるストーリーとなっている。鉄人は" 兵器" として生まれながらも、" 平和" のため活用されるのである。
主題歌にも「いいも わるいも リモコンしだい」と歌手があるように、鉄人自体は善でも悪でもなく、それはある種「神」と同じ、強大な力を持つ者であり、またその力を操る者によってそれは何にでも変わってくるのである。
また主人公が子供であるというのも、必要な意味であり、大人が起こした戦争を大人自身で収集を付けられなくなり、無責任にも多くの若者、まだ子供に頼り、多くを戦場に送り出し、辛い思いをさせ、そのことにより子供が大人を信用できない時代でもあった。
そのコンセプトを表現すべく、表面には終戦直後、長い戦後の時代を表す記事の内容を主に使用している。
